THE case in which two Kenyans and 11 Tanzanians are charged with murder and armed robbery at the National Microfinance Bank (NMB) Mwanga Branch was yesterday adjourned to September 12.
The suspects, some of whom hired services of defence advocates from Arusha and Moshi, were brought to court amid tight security of six police vehicles manned by both plain-clothed and heavily armed officers.
Before Resident Magistrate Geni Dudu, were Samwel Gitau Saitoti (30), Michael Kimani Peter alias Kim alias Mike (37), Fadhili Msuya (42), Calist Kamili (44), Deodat Temu alias Deo alias Fundi (36), Ex-Police Constable Nathaniel Amon Manyama alias March Atieno alias Baharia (33) and Emmanuel Mziray alias Emma (33).
Others were Florian Kimati lias Babylon alias Dalali (39), Devotha Elias Msanze (32), Julian Elias Msanze (47), Elizabeth Elias Msanze alias Bella (21), Ntibasalila Elias Msanze (18) and Salome Matemu, NMB Accountant at Mwanga Branch.
The accused have denied the charge of armed robbery.
They were not required to enter plea on the charge of murder because the offence is to be tried in the High Court.
