Tanzania offers ten-year fixed rate T-bond

(Reuters) - Tanzania's central bank on Monday offered a ten-year fixed rate treasury bond worth 20 billion shillings ($12.32 million). TEN-YEAR FIXED RATE TREASURY BOND AUCTION DATE: September 7, 2011. PRICE: To be quoted at premium, par or discount to four decimal places. MINIMUM BID SIZE: 1,000,000 shillings when bidding through primary dealers and 5,000,000 shillings for direct bidders in multiples of 100,000 shillings. COUPON RATE: Fixed at 11.44 percent per annum. TAX: Interest income is exempted from withholding tax. CURRENCY: Tanzania shilling. INTEREST PAYMENT DATES: March 8 and September 8. REDEMPTION DATE: September 8, 2021. TRADING: Secondary trading in multiples of 100,000 shillings to commence on September 13, 2011. ($1 = 1623.000 Tanzanian Shillings)
