A man has robbed a Weston-super-Mare bank of an unknown quantity of cash, police said.
The man entered Lloyds TSB on South Parade, approached a cashier and handed over a note demanding money, stating that he was armed.
He gave the cashier a carrier bag which was then filled with cash.
The man then made off in the direction of the Boulevard. He was described as being a white male, aged in his 40s, of a thin build, and about 5ft 6ins tall.
